The food supply chain consists of actors and activities in various steps from food production; storage and distribution; & processing and packaging. Achieving sustainable food supply chains is an important component of transforming food systems for healthier diets. Our research interests within this theme include production systems; seed systems; production stresses; agricultural technology; production risk and mitigation;  post-harvest losses and management; agribusiness and processing; input and output markets & food safety in various agricultural value chains.
