This study, undertaken by Kula Vyema Centre and Prof. Michelle Holdsworth of the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development-IRD, sought to identifying policy actions that have the best chance of success in five Eastern Africa countries (Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Kenya) to enable healthy, sustainable diets and food systems. The results of the study will feed into the initial phase of a five-year partnership by the IDRC and the Rockefeller Foundation ‘Catalysing Change for Healthy and Sustainable Food Systems’.
